PSMEM Database Interface

CEV participates in the PSMEM partnership of academic, governmental and private non-profit organizations that seek to develop predictive modeling capabilities for the circulation and ecosystem of Puget Sound. PSMEM maintains and operates a system of flexibly linked simulation models and a data management system for archiving and exchanging oceanographic data and model results.

Resources are accessible to all members of the partnerships as well as to the regional and oceanographic community for research, education, and policy formulation. PSMEM engages in research activities aimed at developing fundamental understanding of the Sound's marine environment, as well as addressing practical questions raised by the regional community concerning management of the Sound and its resources. The partnership is an estuarine research node within the NOPP Ocean Information Commons.
